Four Seasons

Polka Dot Academy organise and facilitate key elements of the Four Seasons project in partnership with South Holland District Council.

The ‘Four Seasons Project’ is a transnational project funded by LEADER +. The project aims to forge links between the Lincolnshire fens and Bukki Hegyat in Hungary, encouraging the communities to join together to share skills and experiences of local industry, careers and culture, history, citizenship and the environment.

If you wish to find out more about the Four Seasons project visit

Part of the Four Seasons project involves exchange programmes, where students from England and Hungary visit each other to participate in workshops, events, and discussions involving each nations culture and heritage. Each year Polka Dot also stages an open air production as an integral part of the project, being staged first in Lincolnshire and then in Hungary. In 2006 we staged Wind in the Willows and in 2007 The Magical Adventures of Robin Hood. Look out for our next open air production to be staged in August 2008.
